Place on dampened paper towel. Turn ears over and rearrange after 1/2 cooking time.
2 ears – 5 to 6 minutes
3 ears – 6 to 7 minutes
4 ears – 8 to 9 minutes
6 ears – 8 to 9 minutes.
After it has finished cooking, use heavy oven mitts or some Ove gloves to remove it from the microwave and cut off the larger end of the cob with a sharp serrated knife. Remember this is very hot corn, so use your gloves while handling. Wrap in towel or foils and let set for 4-5 minutes.
Then simply squeeze the cob out of the shucks pushing out at the cut off end
Serve with melted butter and season to taste. This is delicious!
